Sophie Taheri, ARDMS

Sophie has been performing ultrasounds since 2017 and is board-certified with a specialization in breast imaging. After the unexpected loss of her cousin to breast cancer, she faced significant health anxiety and personal challenges accessing care & testing due to her age. This experience inspired her to create a breast ultrasound service to honor her cousin’s memory and make breast health more accessible. Sophie’s professional journey began at a women’s breast center, where she performed ultrasounds for patients with breast health concerns and supported them through biopsies when necessary. Her combined personal and professional experiences enable her to approach her work with both expertise and compassion. Sophie is also the founder of Bun + Oven, an in-home ultrasound service for expecting mothers.

Dedicated to breaking down barriers in the medical system, Sophie’s mission is to provide patients with peace of mind and prompt, patient-centered care.

When she’s not working, Sophie enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, trying new foods and exploring local restaurants, staying active with Pilates, and learning new ways to live clean and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
