Why We Started
The Breast Lab was born from a deeply personal place.
After losing my cousin to breast cancer, I was left with profound grief—and overwhelming health anxiety. Each time I found the strength to seek care, I ran into barriers that made proactive screening feel out of reach. Her memory and my own anxiety became the driving force behind creating a service that not only honors her, but also breaks down some of the obstacles in women’s preventive care.
